CP Carga hauls first timber load to Zaragoza

CP Carga ran the first international timber train for their customer, Torraspapel, from the Cacia hub to Zaragoza on 20 June. The load filled 20 wagons with 780 net tons of wood. We expect to run one train a week for this customer over the next three years.

CP Carga currently operates 10 of its own logistics terminals across the country, with services between Portuguese Atlantic seaports, large customers’ private branch lines and Spain especially for the daily transport of steel, grain and cars. We also provide a regular intermodal service to Iberian centres like Madrid, Barcelona, Tarragona, Valencia, Zaragoza and Bilbao, and continue to focus on the growth of rail freight in Portugal and Spain.
